The overall look on the edges reminds me of the days of art stores like Utrect & Pearl paint, where they actually sold (home made) paper made by artists, I really dig the edges/corners there. I like the colors overall, reminds me of the days when I worked in chalk pastel. The curves on the background stuff, in general I works really well. Feels almost cartoony without going overboard. My eyes are moving around on the piece constantly finding interesting things in it, always a plus.

The only nit pick(s) I would make is to MAYBE enlarge the 2 characters just a bit & to off center them somewhat.
